Apple Software Engineer interview with a full-day final round of eight conversations

Hard

The interview cycle was organized but intense. I had four rounds overall, and the final one was a full day with around eight separate interviews running back to back. There were a lot of technical and behavioral questions, and the main demand was sustained focus.

Before that full-day round, I had conversations about my background and projects. They started with my CV, then moved into targeted technical questions. Some interviews were unusually direct. They wanted to confirm specific details quickly and then probe further. At times, it felt like they were also testing whether I could stay structured through long, dense questioning.

I did not receive an offer. It left me feeling that the interview was not only about being correct, but also about managing repeated scrutiny across a long day. The biggest surprise was how exhausting the final round was, even though the earlier stages had given me some sense of what they wanted.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
