Asana Spa Software Engineer Interview Experience: Chasing a delayed rejection

The first stage seemed promising, but the process dragged on longer than it needed to. After the interview, I realized I had effectively fallen through the cracks in their system and had to chase for a status update.

There was no clear communication cadence. I had been told I would hear back within a certain timeframe, but the delay continued. When a response finally arrived, it was essentially that they were no longer interested. What hurt most was that there was no promised feedback conversation and no meaningful feedback, only a generic closeout.

The early signals had been positive, but the follow-through did not match them. I left feeling that I had to do too much of the process myself just to understand my status.

Location: Warsaw, Masovia. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
