After a quick application stage, I had a recruiter-style conversation and then a screen that combined behavioral prompts with technical questions. There were about six behavioral questions and fewer technical ones. The atmosphere stayed standard rather than confrontational, and the in-person part took place at Salmesbury.
The technical discussion focused on day-to-day embedded and low-level software work. I was asked about C/C++, embedded systems, debugging, hardware-software integration, troubleshooting, and communication protocols. They seemed to want clear examples of how I approach technical problems, rather than buzzwords.
The behavioral portion relied on scenario-style tell-me-about-a-time questions. I could think through my answers, and the interview did not feel overly adversarial. I did not receive an offer, but I felt I answered honestly and clearly even if the role was not the match they wanted.
Location: United Kingdom. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
