There were three rounds in total.
The first round was debugging. You download the project to your local machine and use an IDE you're comfortable with, or you can use CodeSignal. The problem and the bug location were exactly the same as in another post on the forum. Thanks, buddy, although you still have to pretend you don't know the answer and hunt for the bug, which takes some acting 🤡
The second round was system design: design a rewards system. The detailed question is already posted on the forum.
The third round was AI coding, basically building something like Venmo. You can pick any AI tools you want, and the company even reimburses you for whichever tool you choose.
In the end I got rejected, which was a bit unexpected. I felt I did well in every round, and I honestly can't find the point where I failed. Maybe I wrote the code with AI too fast in the AI round? The recruiter said they would set up a call to give me feedback, but when I emailed to schedule that call, the email tracker showed that this person read every one of my emails and never replied. I've moved on.
