I went through an assessment-heavy process with several technical stages, but I didn't move forward.
One path involved a small take-home assessment with two questions. I didn't proceed after that initial stage. Another included a CodeSignal test, followed by a roughly 30-minute recruiter call covering Circle, culture, and crypto-related knowledge. That path continued with a system-design discussion lasting about 60 minutes, a pair-programming session of about 90 minutes, and a roughly 30-minute hiring-manager round.
A separate flow involved an HR call, an online coding test, a live architectural exercise, and a live coding round. All coding was expected to be in Go. Another recruiter-driven process led to a superday with two technical rounds, one system-design round, and one behavioral round.
I also encountered an online coding assessment made up of three related problems, beginning with fetching JSON from an API. Each stage moved quickly, with short waits between rounds and little feedback along the way. I didn't receive an offer, and my impression was that the later technical evaluations, especially system design, pairing, and architecture, were where most of the momentum was decided.
