My process lasted about six months, beginning with LinkedIn outreach and ending in rejection. The sequence was a game assessment, two interviews with engagement managers, and a final round of three partner interviews.
I reached the end feeling confident, but was eliminated in the first interview of that final group after a simple math error. My result differed from the expected one, which led me to make the wrong recommendation. I had the structure, but the numerical slip changed the conclusion.
The atmosphere could vary. One interviewer seemed distracted to me, though the cases themselves did not feel abstractly impossible. I did not control the precision they required. I left without an offer with the sense that the margin for error was very small, and that exhibit work and numerical precision set the pace of judgment.
