The process started with a timed online assessment covering coding, programming, logic, and problem solving. After I cleared it, the recruiter moved me forward.
The next stages were straightforward and reasonable. I first had an HR-style conversation where the interviewer was helpful and explained what the company wanted. The technical interviews matched my stack rather than relying on obscure LeetCode questions. One covered Python concepts, SQL, cloud basics, and DSA, and they wanted clear explanations, not only working code. Another was shorter and more design-oriented, with system-design prompts for a high-level end-to-end application design.
There were gaps of a week or a couple of weeks between stages, but communication was generally predictable and the sequence made sense. In the final stage, I spoke with the hiring manager about expectations, salary, and goals. That was where it became clear that I might not match the grade or scope they needed. I was not selected, but the path still felt coherent and structured. The final decision came down to fit.
