Hexaware Software Engineer Interview Experience: Four elimination rounds and time pressure in the OA

My Hexaware process had a clear elimination flow across four rounds: a group discussion, an online assessment, a technical plus HR interview, and a final general HR interview. The group discussion focused on communication. The online assessment combined aptitude, technical MCQs, debugging, short coding, and prompt-style tasks. It was under strict time pressure, which made it feel high-stakes.

The aptitude section included data-interpretation questions on averages, ages, mixture and alligation, and seating arrangements. I had to move quickly while staying accurate. In the technical plus HR round, most questions came from my resume, which helped me frame my answers, but the difficulty still depended on how complete and precise my explanations were.

I did not clear the process, but the steps were structured and consistent. Staff were present, supportive, and communicative during interactions. What stayed with me was the OA pace. If I slowed down there, it affected everything afterward. By the later rounds, I understood that competition was not only about knowing topics, but also about finishing and explaining under pressure.

Location: Coimbatore. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
