I had a face-to-face interview at an HPE office in Mahadevapura, and the schedule felt designed to be thorough. The first round was online with the hiring manager, followed by three in-person rounds. They spent a lot of time on projects from my resume and checked my skills one by one.
At this level, I expected more emphasis on problem solving than on low-level incremental knowledge. Instead, the questions did not seem closely connected to what I thought they were evaluating, and the tone made the day feel uncomfortably mismatched.
They ultimately said I did not have the datapath experience they wanted. That was frustrating because I had been shortlisted by the recruiter, spent a full day interviewing, and was filtered out on something that felt as though it should have been clear earlier. I did not receive an offer, and I left feeling that the process did not reflect the profile alignment they said they saw at the start.
Location: India. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
