MD Anderson Cancer Center Research Analyst interview: team presentation

MD Anderson Cancer Center·Research Analyst·Reported Jul 2026

I started with a recruiter-style call that covered basic background questions. Then I had a technical-light Zoom interview with the whole team. The format was simple: everyone joined the call, I gave a presentation of about ten minutes, and they asked follow-up questions about my experience instead of pushing into deep technical problem solving.

I was surprised by how few technical questions there were. They wanted specifics about my background and how it fit what the team did. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the questions stayed relevant to my past work.

Looking back, it felt smoother than most interviews I had done, even though it was lighter on technical depth.

Location: Canada. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
