After a recruiter call, I quickly moved to a short live interview. I spent about twenty minutes explaining my experience, then answered critical-thinking questions. The technical material was simple, but I still needed to explain the fundamentals clearly: a circuit involving a voltage supply, resistance and a capacitor, plus at least one probability-style question.
The high-volume hiring format felt staged and fast. I had to be concise about what I'd bring to the team. There were case-style prompts asking me to elaborate, personality-fit questions and an expectation that I stay focused. Communication seemed to matter more than trivia.
The interviews were generally straightforward and casual despite the several touchpoints. I felt I needed to connect my projects clearly with the role. I didn't receive an offer, but I understood how much they valued getting to the point and explaining ideas within the time available.
