I was brought into an on-campus opportunity with an exam-like format. The technical round had MCQs and two coding questions, and I could choose Python, Java, C, or C++. It seemed to test basic coding speed and structured problem solving.
Next came a face-to-face technical interview with senior people. They asked deeper questions and indicated that some backgrounds would require reasoning about systems and architectures rather than superficial answers. They also cautioned me about how I referred to datasets in project descriptions, saying that reference should not carry the explanation.
If I had been shortlisted, the remaining step would have been an HR round about basic topics such as relocation and behavioral questions. I did not receive an offer. What remained with me was the move from timed coding to deeper system thinking and practical expectations for describing my work.
Location: Pune. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
