The process started out looking standard, but it soured because of how it was run and communicated. There was back and forth and long waits, which made it feel less organized than it should have been. At one point, I waited a long time outside before reaching hiring personnel, and the tone I received felt condescending rather than welcoming.
Once I reached the interview space, I discussed communication, customer service, and how I would build or maintain my own clientele. The conversations were direct and structured around those themes, but they also felt inconsistent depending on the interviewer.
What stayed with me was how disconnected the teams seemed. One interview experience suggested that HR and the department were not aligned on what they wanted. I also had concerns about fairness because different managers seemed to hold different views even when the process looked similar. I did not leave confident that the decision-making was as fair or coherent as the role itself sounded.
