Publicis Sapient Software Engineer interview: technical questions and an uncomfortable tone

The first round was a face-to-face technical interview. I could answer the questions, which were fairly straightforward. What bothered me was that the interviewer kept giggling while I spoke. It made the setting feel disrespectful and uncomfortable.

I tried to stay focused and finish my answers, but the repeated reactions left me feeling I wasn't being taken seriously. The technical content itself seemed fine; the interaction undermined it.

I didn't receive an offer. I came away thinking about how much a respectful, professional setting matters. The interviewer's manner was more memorable than the questions.

Location: Bengaluru. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
