Revolut Operations Manager interview: competency screening and psychometric testing

The first HR screening call was fairly intense. It opened with why I wanted to work at Revolut, then quickly moved to competency questions connecting my experience with the role. The pace made it feel as though they wanted to establish fit early.

An online psychometric test was scheduled within the next few days. After the assessment, I had a more detailed discussion with a hiring manager, followed by an interview with recruitment and culture specialists. The sequence felt straightforward: initial fit, testing, then a closer look at culture and leadership.

The overall difficulty seemed average, but the standard felt consistent. Recruiters expected clear, structured stories and kept returning to how my previous work met the operations role's needs. I didn't receive an offer. What stayed with me was how much the outcome seemed to depend on early fit and measurable evidence, beyond how confidently I spoke.

Location: Madrid. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
