I received what was described as a technical-screening invitation, but at the start I had to work out who I was speaking with and what they expected. The first technical prompts arrived in chat. Later questions switched to a verbal exchange without a clear explanation. That inconsistency made it hard to tell what the interview measured, and I spent attention decoding the process instead of the technical content.
The conversation seemed to need a translation layer, either into plain English or into deeper technical detail, depending on whether the interviewer acted more like HR or engineering. I also received a candidate-experience survey before any interview result. Administration felt efficient, but the unclear format made me feel I had to reverse-engineer expectations as I went. I did not get an offer, and it made it harder to show my best technical reasoning.
