A recruiter scheduled my interview, and I soon had a technical screen focused on software fundamentals rather than anything unusual. It lasted about half an hour and covered Python, SQL, and data structures. I was asked about asynchronous programming, what happens behind the scenes, how data-structure evolution affects performance, and why some approaches are considered deprecated.
The tone was technical and direct, but I did not feel completely lost. I could answer many questions without it turning into a grilling session. I did not receive an offer, yet I left knowing better what depth they expected and satisfied that I had shown what I knew.
Location: Madrid. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
