Software Engineer interview at Drw Holdings: Python take-home and unanswered emails

I ran into communication gaps and long periods of silence during the take-home and scheduling steps. That made the experience frustrating, even though I completed everything.

I first had a friendly HR conversation and then received a small Python coding or homework task. I submitted it and was expected to have a front-facing technical interview, but I never heard back.

In another path, I agreed to complete the take-home in one language, but the prompt's tooling expectations conflicted with that agreement. My emails went unanswered, and I was eventually rejected for needing a different language.

In another similar case, I had a first interview, waited, and only heard back after I followed up. The decision had been made during review.

I was rejected without clear closure. My takeaway was to push for alignment early and not assume that silence means I'm moving forward.

Location: Israel. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
