After I applied online, I waited a while before the recruiter-led process began. I first completed a HireVue coding-and-video portion, then spoke with a recruiter about the role and next steps. I was later sent a link to schedule a meeting with the hiring manager.
The later technical conversations focused more on fit and background knowledge than deep algorithms. I spoke with multiple interviewers in a technical round about the stack and the systems the team worked on, including Spring Boot and microservices. Some questions mixed technical context with behavioral elements.
The atmosphere was welcoming rather than adversarial. The questions were still substantive, but it felt as though the interviewers were trying to understand how I had worked in similar environments. I did not receive an offer, yet the experience was not hostile and made it easier to reflect on what matched and what did not.
Location: United States. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
