Software Engineer interview at The Walt Disney

The recruiter first discussed my interests and location fit. I understood that some versions of the role might have two rounds, one easy-to-medium LeetCode problem and a hiring-manager round, but my own path was recruiter first and then a technical-and-fit discussion with an engineer or hiring manager.

I had a recruiter video screen, a hiring-manager video interview, an in-person office technical interview, and a final video interview with the director of engineering. The questions matched the work I would do, with no usual gotcha traps, and the interviewers were understanding when I did not know something right away.

I applied in February, finished interviewing in about 3 to 4 weeks, and waited several more weeks for the outcome. I received an offer; the recruiter advocated for me and the team communicated clearly.

Location: Orlando, FL. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
