After a recruiter call, I went through a series of phone interviews that felt more structured than anything I had done before. There was another round with an engineer, followed by a hiring-manager call that ran about half an hour longer than I expected. That conversation stayed pretty chill, though they kept asking me to connect my background to their work.
Soon after that, I was invited onsite for the final stage. I gave a panel presentation on my strongest technical achievements and got constructive feedback before the rest of the on-site interviews. The day then moved into one-on-one technical conversations and ended with a hands-on or more practical component, depending on how the day was flowing.
I did not get past the first 1v1 and did not receive an offer. Still, it was one of the better interview experiences I have had. The recruiter helped me prepare for onsite, and the feedback made the process feel transparent instead of mysterious.
