Tanium Software Engineer interview: recruiter silence and canceled technical interviews

The start was discouraging. Two recruiters contacted me on LinkedIn and asked for my resume and contact details. One disappeared entirely. The other said the role was not live yet and should open the following week.

That week passed without a response or a job posting. I followed up anyway and got nothing back. After they had confirmed the outreach was real, the lack of basic professional courtesy bothered me.

I also had a separate thread that looked disorganized from the beginning. I went through a recruiter call and a hiring-manager interview, then was scheduled for technical interviews that were canceled because the role had been filled. In both situations, the timelines did not match what I had been told, and the poor coordination made the process feel messy instead of selective.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
