The process began with aptitude and reasoning, then coding. I received two coding questions: one easy-to-mid level and one mid-to-hard DSA problem. Each part seemed to require clearing before the next advanced.
The technical discussion went deep into Java and CS fundamentals: String versus StringBuilder/StringBuffer, string immutability, equals and hashCode, ArrayList versus LinkedList, checked and unchecked exceptions, processes and threads with their lifecycles, Runnable versus Callable, lambdas, functional interfaces, and the Stream API. I did not receive an offer. More than coding, the hard part was staying clear across such a wide range of language and runtime topics.
