The NQT process I went through had two main rounds after the test. First was a combined technical and managerial round covering resume knowledge, coding, and problem solving. Then came an HR round on fit, cultural comfort, willingness to relocate, and confirming background details for final selection.
I had been categorized for roles based on my NQT performance. I did well on several aptitude and verbal sections, but my coding performance did not match that. The exam included basic and advanced coding questions, and I remember messing those up. That shaped how I felt entering the later rounds.
The interviews seemed to be looking for consistency: reasoning and fundamentals, then communication and fit. It was competitive and not something I could breeze through. I did not get an offer. The contrast between my aptitude results and coding performance left me feeling that the coding gap mattered more than I wanted it to.
Location: Bhubaneshwar. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
