After I applied, the interviewer explained the role and asked about my current work. The rest was light and conversational, mostly a couple of phone or Zoom interviews about my background and how the work would fit.
For a software-engineering process, it felt unusually smooth. Being able to speak clearly about my experience and how I work was enough to carry the conversations. Nothing dragged or became unnecessarily complicated.
