My process involved a lot of rounds and felt very thorough, almost standardized. After an initial step, I had two technical interviews followed by two soft-skill interviews focused on project and team management. The topics varied, but the structure stayed consistent. I was evaluated across several dimensions rather than only on coding.
The technical interviews centered on Python coding tasks that combined algorithmic challenges with practical data analysis and model building. The analysis portion was simple enough to finish within the interview window, but it still required a complete flow, from loading or preparing the data to producing an analyzed model and results. The soft-skill rounds were more typical than the technical ones, and they took place as two separate conversations.
I was told I was doing well throughout, which made the ending especially disappointing. After all the rounds, they kept me waiting for a long time and then declined me. The delay made the rejection harder, even though I still felt I’d performed decently.
