I kept running into the same frustrating theme: the process began politely, but communication failed when it mattered. I had an initial recruiter call and then a hiring-manager screen. After that, I waited. I followed up and got no real acknowledgement or clear next step, only silence.
In separate moments, I was told I would hear back after a resume review or another stage, but the updates never came in a useful way. When I finally heard something, it was a rejection after the fact. At least one message was automatic, and in another situation I got a text saying I had not received the role. That was especially disappointing because the earlier conversations made it seem as though there was genuine interest in my background.
By the time I did hear back, I was confused. I felt my experience deserved at least a basic "not moving forward" message so I could understand what happened. The interviews and conversations were not the problem. The long wait and lack of detail were.
