Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: React assessment rejected seconds after submission

The sequence felt professional and reasonable until the end. I first had a technical interview on JavaScript and React topics including hooks, reconciliation, HOCs, and performance patterns. We also discussed architecture and past project experience. A managerial round followed, focused on my projects, experience, and team fit. What surprised me was receiving an online assessment after I had clea…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: Layered assessments and virtual panel

The process started with assessments before I spoke with an interviewer. I took a cognitive and technical test with a large multiple-choice portion, then a separate coding assessment with a couple of programming questions. There was also an AI-driven voice and text communication assessment. After clearing those, I joined a shorter virtual panel that combined technical and HR-style discussion. The…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: month-long scheduling and silence

The biggest problem was not the questions but the dragged-out process and poor communication. I booked slots almost every week for nearly a month before I finally got an interview slot. After the interviews, there was almost no response. Emails went unanswered and phone calls were not picked up. There were also cases where the interviewer or scheduling logistics did not line up, which made the pr…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java, Spring Boot, and N+1 queries

The process began with an assessment containing two coding questions, then moved into technical interviews focused on Java and backend topics. In the first technical interview, we covered Java and backend fundamentals including microservices, Redis, and Java Streams, with additional DSA and coding questions mixed in. A later technical discussion reinforced how much they cared about Java and Sprin…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java 8 and Spring Boot discussions

After recruiter outreach, I took an online assessment about a week later. It was more about algorithm practice than the role itself: two coding questions, one theory question, LeetCode-style thinking, and core algorithm concepts. I was also repeatedly prompted to be ready to discuss my projects. I then had two technical interviews. They covered Java 8 features, the Collections framework, Spring B…

Software Engineer interview at Arch Global Services Philippines: prolonged silence

The hardest part was the disorganized communication after I invested time. In one assessment flow I did not advance but at least received a rejection email. In others, I completed interviews or assessments and then heard nothing when I expected scheduling or status updates. Gaps between rounds reached three to four weeks, and after a final round the silence lasted months without feedback or an of…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: project depth to HR logistics

After a recruiter call and shortlisting-style contact, I had an hour-long technical interview about my project and technical depth. It felt more like a discussion of real work and core principles than a string of unrelated facts. Later, a developer-background interview covered coding, problem solving, situations, and project details. The manager round moved into architecture and design tradeoffs,…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Python, SQL, and flatten-list technical rounds

The interviews were heavily technical and coding-focused. In one technical round, I discussed my project experience and then answered questions about Python and APIs, including Django, FastAPI, Pandas, and OOP. I also completed multiple Python coding exercises that tested how I broke down and reasoned through problems. Another technical session covered Python decorators and generators, the differ…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
