Crowdstrike Account Executive panel postponed without a reschedule

I went into the process expecting a typical sales interview cadence. After a screening and a second interview that felt straightforward, I moved to a panel with less than a day to prepare for a long session. Several delays kept pushing back my plans. During the panel presentation, there was also an unexpected language-related change request, which threw me off in the middle of the presentation. T…

Crowdstrike Account Executive interview with sales management meetings

I started with a quick recruiter call and moved through the next steps quickly. The process felt straightforward, with short, focused conversations instead of anything especially technical. I was asked behavioral questions and general cybersecurity questions, with the discussion returning to my motivation, what I wanted from the role, and how my experience matched the business’s needs. One import…

Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview with seven difficult coding questions

After applying, I went through an earlier pipeline that included college-placement-style steps and then an online assessment. The multiple-choice section was manageable for me, but the assessment overall felt harder than I expected, especially since the role was for an internship. The biggest problem was the mix of questions. I could solve the multiple-choice problems, but the seven coding questi…

Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview: recruiter redirect after a 10-minute delay

My first step with CrowdStrike was a recruiter call over Zoom. The interviewer joined almost 10 minutes late, which made the start a little awkward, but they were professional and polite once we began. We covered the usual basics about my background and work history, and the conversation stayed fairly light. What stood out was that they asked whether I might be a better fit for a similar role on…

Crowdstrike Account Executive: fast-tracked interviews and a final panel

My process started with a straightforward recruiter conversation, followed by a small number of follow-ups rather than a long gauntlet. I had been in contact with the hiring side early on, and after a conversation they sent me an application link and connected me with the recruiting team. The conversations stayed professional and focused heavily on my cybersecurity sales background and how it fit…

Crowdstrike Solutions Engineer interview: remote hiring-manager and sales interviews followed by silence

A recruiter contacted me, and the process became a remote interview cycle with a hiring manager and members of the sales team. I kept moving through the interviews and felt that I had passed the rounds, so I expected the next steps to come quickly. Instead, the process went silent after I finished. I emailed for an update, but I still didn’t hear back. The lack of communication felt careless and…

Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview with recruiter and hiring manager calls

I had two recruiter-adjacent calls: first with a recruiter, then with a hiring manager. The hiring manager asked about my previous experience and projects, with some focus on call and metrics topics. The conversation seemed aimed at matching my background to what the team cared about. After the hiring manager call, everything stalled. I was ghosted and never heard back from the recruiter, which m…

Crowdstrike Software Engineer interview for Falcon Exposure Management

I went through CrowdStrike's process for the Falcon Exposure Management team. The overall tone was highly technical, with a strong focus on problem-solving and system design. It felt designed to test reasoning above all else. The process started with a DSAT-style step and continued with the same emphasis on problem-solving and system design. The questions didn't feel like trivia. They focused mor…

A String-Templating Coding Round, Then a Rejection

Sharing a fresh rejection story. I don't have a cybersecurity background. I applied for a senior SWE, cloud role. The position requires being based in the US Eastern time zone, since it involves working with the team in Europe. First was an HR screen, with some basic questions — whether I knew Go, what the most complex project I'd worked on was, that kind of thing. At the time I thought I had no…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.

Share your own

Every published experience earns 50 XP, and each of the first 3 likes it receives in a day earns you 10 XP more. Likes must come from established accounts; like-for-like swaps and likes from your own second account are not paid. Write it while the details are fresh — the round order, the exact prompts, and how much time you were given are what the next reader needs.
