The interview centered on my testing background and real validation work. In discussing my projects, I covered automation and API validation, then moved into SQL and integration testing. I liked that the conversation remained connected to the work involved in the role.
It did not feel as though I was being tested with random trivia. Instead, the focus was on whether I could explain my process and connect my experience to broader system expectations. It was not a deep system-design gauntlet, but it still called for strong technical fundamentals and the ability to cover several areas confidently.
I came away feeling that the role fit my functional, system, and end-to-end testing background. The tone was more thoughtful than a pure grilling session, and it seemed they were trying to assess how I would perform day to day.
