ABC Family Software Engineer interview: four coding-heavy rounds

I went through four rounds that were coding heavy from the start. The online assessment combined coding with multiple-choice questions on OS, DBMS, OOP, SQL, and aptitude. The first technical interview covered my resume and projects before moving into DSA and core computer-science fundamentals.

The next technical round was tougher. I had a more difficult coding problem, deeper questions about my project work, and basic system-design thinking. In the final HR and hiring-manager round, attention shifted from coding to communication, collaboration, career goals, and fit with the team.

It was intense in a good way. DSA and CS fundamentals mattered, and what helped most was explaining my projects confidently while handling coding questions under pressure.

Location: Korea. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
