My process picked up after I filled out my online profile. I had a short HR screening where the conversation moved between Spanish and English, and then I was scheduled for the technical interview.
The technical round was entirely in English and lasted about forty minutes. It surprised me because it focused heavily on open-ended, textbook-style questions about core Python concepts. I was asked about immutability and data types, OOP fundamentals, and how concurrency works in practice, including multithreading and multiprocessing. There were also questions about generators, decorators, and closures, along with scenario prompts and a few behavioral check-ins. The interviewer kept a close eye on the time and moved things along, so the round felt brisk but fair.
I didn't get an offer, but the evaluation still felt legitimate rather than like random trivia. My main impression was that they wanted clear explanations of the fundamentals, not just buzzwords.
