I went through a structured process for the Software Engineer role: an initial contact, a short screening call, a technical test on their platform, and interviews with technical interviewers and a team lead. The process itself felt fairly standard. After I completed everything, though, communication basically went silent.
The uncertainty was the hardest part. I waited weeks without an update, even after completing every stage they asked for. It felt disrespectful of the time I’d invested. In another situation of the same kind, I was told I’d been selected and received messages suggesting an offer would be rolled out. Later, I was pushed back with vague explanations, such as there being no projects available. I was left confused about how recruitment and project allocation were connected.
I didn’t end up with an offer. Looking back, the interviews weren’t what bothered me most. It was the lack of closure and the feeling that the process moved forward without a clear end state.
Location: Buenos Aires. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
