After I applied, recruiting moved quickly into a phone screen about my background, why I wanted the role, and standard behavioral questions. From there, the process mixed manager conversations with technical evaluation, sometimes with senior engineering input.
The interviews kept returning to my resume and projects, along with questions about struggles, failures, and overcoming obstacles. Managers also asked how I worked with people and priorities. One session had several people present and left little time for my questions because it ran technical. The difficulty was manageable, although time-zone scheduling could be awkward. I came away understanding the team and responsibilities, and the source reports an offer or positive signal in these journeys. When recruiting and the loop were aligned it felt professional; scheduling slips could still make the experience wobble.
