Canonical Software Engineer online assessments with unclear follow-up

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role through a process that was quick to schedule but ultimately unclear. It involved questionnaires and online tests, followed by either an early decline, no follow-up, or a rejection with little explanation.

I filled out a form-like application and completed a detailed written interview about my background and problem-solving. I also took an aptitude-style assessment, although the format felt quirky and school-like. After that, I attempted coding and assessment tasks through an online platform.

In at least one case, someone contacted me to arrange a conversation, but I received a rejection soon afterward. In other cases, I either never heard back or received an automated decline without detailed reasons. I didn't move forward, and the process often ended without transparency.

Location: Maracaibo. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
