Klaviyo Account Executive: Mock Discovery Call and In-Person Panel

My process began with a recruiter screen and then moved to a hiring manager interview. Most of the questions focused on my experience, along with situational prompts such as walking through a time I handled a specific situation. The recruiter and hiring manager conversations had a similar structure, although the recruiter also explained what to expect and how success would be measured.

The next stage was a mock discovery-style call, with plenty of preparation materials beforehand. I had to think through how I would structure the call, how my sales process worked, and what my next steps would be. After that came an in-person panel interview and then a leadership interview.

The overall difficulty felt moderate to tough, mainly because the mock discovery call and the written and role-play components required specific answers and practice rather than general talking points.

The timing and follow-through were inconsistent for me. I dealt with several disruptions, including reschedules, and it felt like the process wasn't fully synchronized. I ultimately didn't get an offer. What stayed with me was how much effort the role-play required and how frustrating it was when the later stages didn't go as smoothly as the early rounds.

Location: Denver, CO. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
