The process began when a recruiter asked about my availability, and the team moved quickly to arrange the next stages. I had a virtual screening with the hiring manager and engineers from the team, followed by an onsite interview by the end of the month, about three weeks after the initial screening.
The onsite was long and structured. It included a one-hour presentation, several interview panels, and a site tour. I felt genuinely hopeful because the hiring manager repeatedly said I had a strong relevant background. They also mentioned a similar opening they could consider me for if they found another candidate. I left Albuquerque excited.
A few weeks later, the process slowed down in a strange way. I received a vague email about a follow-up chat, and by then I was already interviewing elsewhere. The final communication and pace felt much less enthusiastic than the early stages, and I didn't get an offer. I was still proud of how well I presented, but I remember the slow follow-through most.
Location: Albuquerque, NM. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
