The process moved through several technical touchpoints quickly. I had three phone interviews with different people, then reached an onsite stage that became the center of the evaluation. There, I gave a one-hour presentation on my greatest achievement. It felt fast-moving and evaluative rather than conversational.
After the presentation, I was sent home right away, so I never reached the longer set of follow-on one-on-one interviews that could have happened if I had advanced. That presentation format also matched what I had heard about this type of final stage, where an in-person presentation may be part of the onsite team's evaluation.
It felt average-to-difficult because the presentation carried so much weight, while the rest of the pipeline was clearly meant to test technical depth and clarity. I did not receive an offer. My reflection was that the presentation was not simply storytelling. It was treated like a technical artifact they expected to interrogate hard enough to decide quickly.
