Walmart de México y Centroamérica Software Engineer interview: coding feedback and no follow-up

An email invitation led to a virtual interview that quickly became a coding exercise. I had one LeetCode-style problem involving what seemed like familiar array logic, with a chance to talk through my approach.

The interaction made it harder to concentrate. The interviewer's comments and reactions felt negative, as though I was already on the wrong track while I was still working out the problem. That tone added pressure to finding the solution.

The session was short, and there was no closure afterward. I never received a follow-up or an offer. Looking back, the problem itself wasn't all that shaped the experience. The way the interviewer delivered feedback changed how the whole round felt.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
