The process was organized, and recruiting communicated clearly throughout. Scheduling went smoothly apart from one interview I had to reschedule because of an interviewer emergency.
The final set consisted of four technical interviews covering data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, system design, and behavioral questions based on Amazon's Leadership Principles. The interviewers were professional and respectful. A few explored my projects and technical experience in depth. I found it helpful that their follow-ups responded to my answers instead of sticking to a rigid list.
Coding was challenging: I had to write working solutions while explaining my reasoning and tradeoffs. The behavioral questions also required concrete examples from my past.
The overall difficulty felt average, and I didn't receive an offer. I thought the process was clear and well run, but repeatedly explaining tradeoffs live across several technical rounds was still a lot of work.
Location: Vancouver, BC. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
