I started with an online assessment containing two coding problems, one more algorithmic and the other more mathematical, plus a short work-style survey. After I passed it, I had a phone interview focused entirely on behavioral questions. I used STAR to describe past experiences and had to be deliberate about setting up each story, explaining what I'd done and giving the results.
After that screening, the interviews covered a wider range of topics. I had live coding, followed by a system-design interview with two separate design questions. Another behavioral conversation focused on communication, collaboration and overall fit.
The rounds felt consistent in what they asked of me. I needed to solve problems, explain my approach and relate it to how I'd worked before. I didn't receive an offer, but the process still felt cohesive, with each round building on the abilities they wanted to assess. No single question was the hardest part for me. It was switching quickly from carefully structured behavioral stories to thinking about systems.
Location: Phoenix, AZ. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
