Box Account Executive final presentation process

I interviewed for the Account Executive role at Box and went through a fairly standard process over a few rounds. The difficulty felt moderate, although the experience varied between feeling supported and wanting more clarity.

The process included a recruiter screen about my background and fit for the role. There was also a virtual manager or hiring manager interview. In some accounts, that conversation included discussion of AI topics and management style. A discovery call followed to align on expectations and the role's context. The final presentation involved presenting to a panel or role experts after preparing a summary of what I had learned about Box.

In this group of experiences, no one received an offer. The process design was consistent, but preparation and communication clarity had a large effect on how it felt. Some accounts described the process as smooth and timely, while others felt that feedback and next steps could have been clearer. One person also noted that they hadn't prepared enough before the recruiter round.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
