The interviews were technically focused, but the final coding conversations soured the process for me. After the earlier rounds went smoothly, I reached a final coding interview where the interviewer couldn’t explain the questions or feedback clearly. It was hard to stay focused on implementing the solution because I kept feeling like the target was moving while I worked.
The feedback afterward made it sting more. Some comments felt personal, unnecessary, and hurtful instead of constructive. I left frustrated because I felt I had engaged and put real effort into the work, yet the end of the process seemed to judge my tone and presence more than my actual problem-solving.
I didn’t get an offer. I keep coming back to how, even when the earlier rounds feel manageable, one poorly run final step can determine how the entire process feels.
