Box Software Engineer interview: React todo list and full-stack tasks

My early Box process felt smooth and organized. I started with a recruiter screening where I introduced myself, walked through my job history, and shared my expectations for the role. The recruiter was understanding and helpful, and answered my questions as they came up.

The technical part moved into practical frontend work. I fixed a dropdown implementation on the frontend and then built a simple todo list using React. After that, I worked on full-stack tasks, including cart logic described with pseudocode. The interviews lasted around an hour each, and the people I spoke with were relaxed and willing to help.

The process was clearly staged, with at least one additional cultural-fit component near the end. I wasn’t offered the role, but what stayed positive was how professional and approachable the interviews felt, especially compared with more chaotic processes I’ve seen.

Location: Warsaw, Masovia. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
