Box Account Executive interview with delayed updates and limited feedback

I interviewed for an Account Executive role at Box. The process felt average to poor in terms of coordination, with delays and weak feedback that made it harder to stay confident and prepared.

The recruiter screen included conversations that either went fine at first or failed to meet the expectations that had been set. The hiring manager and next-round interviews were virtual, and urgent requests sometimes came after long gaps. Some paths also included structured panel, role-play, or presentation sessions, but real-time feedback was limited.

Communication was inconsistent. People described being ghosted after interviews, waiting a long time between major stages, or receiving template emails instead of clear decisions. I didn't move forward, often after the recruiter stage or after waiting through at least one additional round. Overall, the process felt unprofessional and disorganized. There were no offers, and the lack of consistent updates and feedback undermined what was otherwise a standard interview structure.

Location: Sydney. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
