After I applied, I had an initial recruiter conversation about the role and my background. The recruiter explained clearly what the overall process would look like. A week or two later, I had a system architecture discussion with a team member. It felt structured and intentional. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager.

The process then became more practical. I did live coding with the hiring manager and another interviewer, followed by a take-home programming assignment. I had time to walk through my submission and explain my decisions to the hiring manager and a team member. Everything took place online, with short gaps between stages. Scheduling usually took a day or two, and I heard how each round went a few days afterward.

The take-home assignment and walkthrough required the most effort, but the experience was genuinely professional. Near the end, I also provided a couple of reference contacts. By then, I felt that I understood both the expectations and the people involved. The process took a couple of months from start to finish. It was well organized and respectful, although it required a real time commitment.

Location: Finland. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: Got offer.
