monday Account Executive interview: scheduling and stalled follow-up

The recruiter call focused on my background, especially selling into the Israeli market, the clients I had worked with, and my day-to-day sales process. Scheduling was difficult because the HR representative offered narrow time slots while very busy. I tried to work around that, including a very late WhatsApp attempt to connect and a last-minute message that she was sick. After the call, the proc…

RBC Business Analyst interview: clear behavioral panels

RBC contacted me about two weeks after I applied. Once the interview was booked, the process moved quickly and stayed low stress. The early conversations were efficient, the timeline and expectations were clear, and I had time to ask questions at the end. Most of the interviews were behavioral and situational. I talked through past experience and then responded to scenarios about how I would hand…

Pinterest Account Executive interview: consecutive sales interviews

After the recruiter screen, I had three interviews in a row, with behavioral questions mixed with more technical prompts. There was almost no downtime between conversations, so I had to stay sharp throughout. The middle conversation was with the hiring manager, followed by two peer interviews. One leaned more technical and the other more toward behavioral fit. The difficulty felt fairly even. It…

MongoDB Software Engineer Interview Experience: live coding, database troubleshooting, and Linux

After a recruiter conversation about my background and skills, I had a technical round with live coding and deeper questions about problem solving and ambiguity. The process later switched modes with a team-lead-style discussion about troubleshooting scenarios, including how I would diagnose a slow database. There were several in-depth technical interviews on databases, Linux, and other areas lis…

MongoDB Account Executive Interview Experience: clear recruiter expectations

The recruiter call set clear expectations about the timing and what came next. The interviewers were nice and direct, and I felt they were helping me understand the process rather than simply describing the job. The conversations fit what I expected for the market and role, and the compensation discussion was consistent with other companies I had considered. I was pleasantly surprised by how atta…

Moody's Software Engineer Interview Experience: unclear AWS-heavy office interview

I was asked to attend an interview at the office, but the questions did not seem relevant to what I understood the role to require. Much of the discussion felt textbook-like, and I could not tell what the interview was actually trying to evaluate. They focused on how AWS works internally and on specific steps, but the phrasing made it hard to connect my answers to the expected skills. I did not g…

Sigmoid Analytics Software Engineer Interview Experience: two incompatible reported accounts

This source describes two different experiences and does not present them as one combined story. One reportedly ended badly during culture fit, with negative HR feedback and unclear hiring status. The other was a four-round process involving Java, Spring Boot, multithreading, and managerial project discussion. The source expressly says the feel and content are too different to synthesize into a s…

Snowflake Computing Account Executive Interview Experience: SDR targets at stage four

I made it to the fourth stage, so the early steps had gone well enough to continue. The interview felt normal and centered on my SDR experience, whether I could explain my performance, my targets, and how I handled daily work. It did not feel as though the interviewer was trying to catch me out. They seemed to be checking consistency and clarity. I did not receive an offer. Still, the salary was…

Snowflake Account Executive Interview Experience: fourth of five stages

I reached the fourth stage of a five-stage process. The interviews felt normal and focused mainly on my SDR background, target performance, and day-to-day work. Nothing about the questions felt overly complicated or mysterious. I did not get an offer, but the salary made the opportunity hard to walk away from. I still felt it was worth pursuing because the potential upside looked much larger than…

Schneider Electric Software Engineer Interview Experience: quick technical and manager process

After a recruiter call, the process moved quickly through two interviews with a hiring manager and a final recruiter conversation about the offer and next steps. The organization made it feel low-stress, and I liked how friendly the panelists were. There was a technical round and a managerial round. I discussed my background, why I applied, and technical questions that did not feel designed as tr…

Rockstar Games QA Engineer Interview Experience: realistic testing role discussion

After applying, I had an HR-led process that walked through my resume, experience, and fit. The tone was relaxed but professional. We talked about why I was drawn to testing, what kept me interested in gaming, and the background relevant to the role. They also made sure I understood that QA did not mean playing games all day. Scheduling was slow, but the recruiter stayed in touch and felt approac…

Rockstar QA Engineer Interview Experience: resume, gaming, and QA fit

I began with HR going through my resume step by step. We discussed prior work, why I wanted QA, and my interest in gaming and testing. The interviews stayed friendly and professional. The questions covered my familiarity with Rockstar titles, how I found issues, and why I fit the role. Talking naturally about gaming helped because it kept returning as a theme. Responses sometimes took longer than…

Rivian Software Engineer Interview Experience: OOP problem and delayed progression

After a recruiter screen, I answered resume-based behavioral questions and then had a technical interview built around an object-oriented problem tailored to the team. It seemed focused on how I reasoned, not only whether I could write code. There was also a short hiring-manager meeting, followed by bundled technical rounds: a coding round and a conceptual round, about half an hour each. Scheduli…

Revolut Operations Manager Interview Experience: take-home case rejected before deadline

The process had a recruiter screen, an online assessment, a live case interview, and then a week-long take-home business case. The assignment felt like substantial unpaid work: it involved a JIRA workflow, process maps, SQL queries, and a full fraud-detection analysis. I was rejected while I was still finishing the take-home, before its deadline. That made the process feel disorganized or dishone…

I applied online and later had a technical interview for a full-stack role. The position centered on React and Python, with AI work and LLM integration. The discussion was clearly aimed at understanding how I would work with modern components and model-related use cases. I felt reasonably aligned with the topics, but I did not get an offer. Volkswagen Group Italia Systems Engineer Interview Experience: promised follow-up never came

An HR contact reached out after I applied. The first phone interview did not go well because they wanted a profile different from mine. During that call, though, I was told someone else would contact me about a position that suited my background better. That follow-up never happened. Super Micro Computer Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA and unstable interviewer connection

I had four rounds, and each mixed some behavioral or Leadership Principles discussion with technical content. DSA appeared often across the loop. TikTok Software Engineer Interview Experience: late reschedule and 25-minute coding sprint

The interview was confirmed for an evening start, then moved less than a day beforehand because of interviewer availability. Thomson Reuters Software Engineer Interview Experience: HackerRank, design, and uneven interview day

The process took about a month. Scheduling was generally smooth despite several availability reschedules, but one hour-long technical day felt one-sided because the interviewer did not seem to be listening and appeared to steer toward preselected answers. The Boston Consulting Group Data Scientist Interview Experience: data science under case pressure

After HR screening and a basic coding or data-science test, I went through multiple technical cases: two earlier cases and two more in a heavier final stage. What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
