ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer interview: full leadership loop

After a recruiter call, I completed a 90-minute online coding assessment with two problems and behavioral questions at the end. The full loop followed with four back-to-back rounds of about an hour each. The loop included a coding interview with a hard and a medium LeetCode-style question, system design, behavioral discussion, and a Bar Raiser round that mixed coding with behavioral questions. Th…

Appian Software Engineer interview: immediate automated rejections

About an hour after I applied online, I received an automatic rejection. I never spoke with anyone at the company, and it did not appear that my resume had been reviewed. The same role kept being reposted. When I tried again later, I received another automatic rejection without a recruiter call. That made the experience feel less like active hiring and more like resume harvesting, at least from m…

Zomato Software Engineer interview: a second recruiting chance

My Zomato experience was a rollercoaster. I was initially rejected, apparently because I did not have the years of experience they wanted, but a recruiter contacted me again a few weeks later with another opportunity from a different team. A team lead later became involved. The second path felt like a fresh chance that followed a similar recruiting rhythm, rather than a completely unrelated proce…

Ernst & Young Consultant interview: creative in-person stage

The process took a while, but the in-person stage was engaging and mentally stimulating rather than merely formal. I felt encouraged to think outside the box, with a strong emphasis on logic and creativity. It was demanding, but also fun in that sense. The manager interview afterward felt more tense. Some questions did not seem clearly framed, which made it hard to answer confidently because I wa…

Ernst & Young Consultant interview: basic questions and brain teasers

The interviewers were kind, but the process felt a little unprepared. Most questions were the basic kind I expected early on. A few brain teasers appeared near the end, making the round less predictable and testing how I thought under light pressure. It was manageable rather than brutal, though somewhat scattered. I left wishing I had done a bit more live practice so the brain-teaser section woul…

EXL Service Philippines Business Analyst interview: extra client round

I expected a straightforward process, starting with a hiring-team interview that went well, then further rounds with a VP and what was described as an AVP final step. The earlier conversations covered the same basic hands-on skill that later became an issue, and I felt I had answered it well. After I thought the process was done, recruiting added a client interview. I was eventually rejected on t…

Exl Business Analyst interview: shifting final stages

The process began with a hiring-team interview that went well, followed by a VP round. I was told an AVP-style final interview would come next, and the technical and leadership discussions seemed positive. I expected the process to reach a decision. Instead, I was pulled into another client-related conversation after the interviews appeared finished. I was then rejected for a basic hands-on skill…

Finacle Consultant interview: agentic frameworks and RAG

After a recruiter call, I was scheduled for two technical rounds. They focused on whether I understood agentic frameworks and how I would build RAG pipelines. A couple of basic programming questions kept the conversation practical rather than overly theoretical. The second round returned to day-to-day work. I discussed async and await, microservices, and work I had built at my previous company. T…

EXL Service Business Analyst interview: long and disorganized rounds

After the initial HR contact, the process became a long sequence of interviews with gaps between them. There were so many stages that one day felt as though it would never end. I spoke with several people, including senior leadership, and repeatedly had to restate my background and the basics tied to the role. Coordination was the hardest part. I was asked to attend extra rounds that were not cle…

KPMG Philippines Consultant interview: structured business cases

I started with back-to-back behavioral and scenario sessions. The scenario round was a business case about how I would approach an engagement, including integration, separation, and M&A considerations. It tested structure and reasoning more than memorized material. The next stage again paired behavioral work with technical-style thinking in a service-line setting. The technical piece was not codi…

Manpower Belgium Full Stack Engineer interview: early silence

An initial call went well, and I was told I would receive information about the next phase. I waited through the week, but nothing arrived. My messages went unanswered and there was no follow-up. Around the same time, I received an email about an AI-bot screening test of non-technical questions. I had completed it about ten days earlier and still had no response. The uncertainty began to wear on…

Kpmg Us Consultant interview: consulting fit and cases

After I applied, the process moved from recruiter and HR conversations to manager-led interviews. It felt professional and structured: people introduced themselves, then probed after my answers. The rounds were about fit and communication rather than pure coding. I had back-to-back behavioral and scenario sessions. The case topics included integration, separation, and M&A, and I discussed my resp…

Kpmg India Consultant interview: business scenarios and fit

The recruiter scheduled the HR step through Zoom or email and kept the conversation relaxed, focusing on my background and fit. I then had behavioral and scenario conversations, including business situations around integration, separation, and M&A. Interviewers followed up on my answers and asked me to explain my reasoning rather than stay broad. The next phase was an assessment followed by an in…

Jpmorgan Chase & Software Engineer interview: timed Super Day

After a recruiter touchpoint, I completed a tight HackerRank-style assessment with four easy-to-medium LeetCode tasks. I then joined a Super Day over Zoom that lasted about three hours. The Super Day combined behavioral, coding, and system-design interviews in a shuffled order. Each block was about 45 minutes, with short breaks. The coding question was easy to medium LeetCode style, while system…

Merck Software Engineer interview: long final campus day

After I applied online, the early response was quick: an HR phone screen followed by a video interview with the hiring manager. I was then invited to a final-round onsite at the Rahway campus for top candidates. That day included about 6 to 7 interviews and a 45-minute presentation. The manager conversation came roughly 5 to 6 weeks before the onsite, and it took several more weeks to hear back.…

KPMG Consultant interview: consulting cases and stakeholder reasoning

The process followed a familiar consulting pattern: recruiter or HR first, then several interviews over a few weeks that mixed fit and business thinking. The interviewers were friendly, but they followed up on my answers rather than letting me stay at a high level. Later scenarios asked me to frame an approach to integration, separation, and M&A situations. I discussed how I would organize the wo…

Prime Video Software Engineer interview: debugging and virtual loop

My first technical task was a web-app debugging exercise rather than pure LeetCode. A limited AI assistant could read files and explain them, but it would not give me the answer. I still had to reason through the code and find the bug myself. The later virtual loop covered data structures, system design, debugging, and behavioral discussion around Amazon Leadership Principles. The technical work…

Prime Video Software Engineer interview: difficult online assessment

The online assessment was harder than I expected. It had three LeetCode-style questions. I completed the easier first one, brute-forced parts of the second, and could not fully solve the third, which was in the medium-to-hard range. The questions emphasized data structures and edge cases. One late question had many scenarios to account for. I could move between questions and return to earlier one…

Prime Video Software Engineer interview: timed DSA and leadership loop

I had four one-hour interviews: three coding rounds and one system-design round. After a recruiter call, I completed a video technical interview in their coding interface. What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
