Supermicro Software Engineer Interview Experience: no-show and disputed blacklisting

The process went wrong before it could really begin. An interviewer did not show up for my scheduled meeting. I contacted the recruiter and recruiting team with evidence that I was present and ready. Even so, I was blamed for missing the interview. After I declined to reschedule because of what happened, I felt shut out, and I was told I was effectively blacklisted. I received no meaningful inter…

TCS Software Engineer Interview Experience: long onsite technical and SQL day

I waited in a hall while candidates were called one at a time, then entered a technical round based directly on my CV. I was asked at least one DSA question, so the interview tested both fundamentals and problem solving. The day was long and exhausting. The format I recall had a technical segment first, followed by coding and SQL queries, and interviewers would help when I got stuck. It ran from…

Zoho Software Engineer Interview Experience: delayed presentation and no update

The process had four stages. I applied without receiving a confirmation email, completed a one-way video questionnaire, gave a presentation, and then interviewed with the India team. The presentation was scheduled for 3:30pm, but I was not admitted until 4pm. During it, the interviewer appeared distracted and kept chatting, despite the preparation I had put in. The India team interview felt more…

Yochana Software Engineer Interview Experience: resume fundamentals and easy coding

The discussion began with my projects, experience, and the technologies listed on my resume. It then moved through basic programming and OOP, including an explicit OOPS question, along with SQL. There was a coding component, but it stayed easy and tested whether I could implement fundamentals. The same technical discussion included straightforward DSA prompts aimed at basic problem solving rather…

Adobe Account Executive Interview Experience: prospecting task and no closure

The process lasted about four rounds and felt more demanding than a standard recruiter-to-manager path. It began with a discovery-style conversation and a peer interview. I was also asked to prospect for a meeting with the hiring manager. That task was awkward because the hiring manager did not answer calls and had a private LinkedIn profile, so outreach was not straightforward even though the pr…

Amazon Software Engineer Interview Experience: coding rounds with leadership questions

The schedule was four rounds of about an hour each. Three were coding-focused, and the last was system design. Every round also contained roughly 25 minutes of Leadership Principles questions. The coding was mostly LeetCode easy to medium, so the larger pressure came from handling leadership prompts while still producing clean solutions. I did not receive an offer. I felt the format did not allow…

Amazon Software Engineer Interview Experience: four mixed behavioral and technical rounds

I had four rounds: behavioral, low-level design, DSA, and a hybrid round combining AI-style behavioral questions with DSA. Each included at least five to 10 minutes of behavioral discussion, so none of the technical rounds was purely technical. Most of the process felt fair. The disruption came in the third round, where the interviewer had connection problems and did not seem to fully understand…

BCG Data Scientist Interview Experience: repeated technical and business cases

After an HR screen, I completed an online coding and assessment stage before a series of technical rounds with live case work. The pattern kept returning to coding checks and data-science cases rather than general consulting questions alone. The final stretch combined multiple technical cases with PEI and MBB-style business-case thinking applied to data science. Each interviewer appeared to test…

Tata Consultancy Services (North America) Business Analyst Interview Experience: architecture and Java depth

The interview began with a detailed walkthrough of my current project. I had to explain the full architecture: design, microservice communication, database interactions, authentication, deployment, technologies, and the reasoning behind decisions. They then covered Java collections, multithreading, exceptions, OOP, and Streams operations such as filtering, mapping, grouping, sorting, and reducing…

Walmart Product Manager Interview Experience: inconsistent screening and late manager call

My first contact was a roughly half-hour phone screen with a Staff PM. It was described as behavioral but had little advance structure, and the interviewer seemed to run it their own way. I left that call believing I would move forward. A later process had recruiter screening, a hiring-manager conversation, and additional interviews. During the recruiter call I introduced myself, then the recruit…

Arch Global Services Philippines Software Engineer Interview Experience: project depth to HR logistics

After a recruiter call and shortlisting-style contact, I had an hour-long technical interview about my project and technical depth. It felt more like a discussion of real work and core principles than a string of unrelated facts. Later, a developer-background interview covered coding, problem solving, situations, and project details. The manager round moved into architecture and design tradeoffs,…

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer Interview Experience: DSA and leadership principles

I completed four dense interviews of about an hour apiece. There was a lot of DSA, including several medium LeetCode-style questions and a tougher later round involving DP and graphs. Amazon Leadership Principles were expected throughout the technical answers as well. One round paired technical work with behavioral expectations, so I had to show ownership and a willingness to dive into details wh…

Amazon DSP Software Engineer Interview Experience: coding question followed by web debugging

I expected an ordinary LeetCode-style technical session. It opened with a medium problem, then changed into a web-app debugging exercise. The available AI assistant could inspect project files and describe what parts did, but it could not give me the solution. That made the interview more about diagnosis than implementation. I had to interpret the codebase, use the assistant to understand its mov…

Amazon Development Center U.S. Software Engineer Interview Experience: debugging under time pressure

One technical sequence began with a medium LeetCode-style problem and then switched to debugging a web application. The assistant I could use was tightly limited: it could read files and explain components, but it would not provide the answer. Understanding the bug mattered, but so did staying organized while navigating the codebase under time pressure. I could follow the logic, yet the debugging…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: missed interview and disputed absence

My interview fell apart because of a scheduling failure, not because of my answers. One interviewer never arrived. I told the recruiter and recruiting team, and provided evidence that I had been there, but I was still accused of missing the interview. I declined to reschedule and raised my concerns. After that, I was ignored and felt effectively blacklisted. The experience felt harsh and unfair b…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: difficult DSA and web debugging

The online assessment was rough from the start. The first LeetCode-style problem was manageable, but the later questions quickly reached medium to hard difficulty. I completed the first, brute-forced the next, and never reached the third. Later rounds stayed heavily focused on DSA. One used hard, ad-hoc graph problems. Another asked me to debug a web app with a very limited AI assistant. It could…

Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: leadership principles in a virtual loop

I spoke with a recruiter and, about 90 minutes later, completed an online assessment with two coding problems. A few behavioral prompts were built into that assessment, and even then I was thinking about Amazon Leadership Principles while solving. The virtual onsite was four back-to-back rounds of roughly an hour each. It included a two-question LeetCode-style coding round with one hard and one m…

Alten Delivery Centre Spain Systems Engineer interview: early calls without alignment

My process stayed short and never really took off. HR contacted me for a quick introductory conversation, but it never reached a real technical evaluation, and I could not continue for various reasons. In another case, a first interview did not succeed because they wanted a different profile. They said they would call again for something more suitable, but nothing followed. In a third case, the o…

Infosys Finacle Consultant interview: smooth process with one slow round

Most of the process felt smooth and organized. Once interviews began, I moved through technical discussions and HR and managerial conversations, and the offer side came quickly after the later steps. Scheduling the second round was the one part that took time. There was also an account of a different result: after several technical and HR rounds, there was no offer and a long period without much…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
