Bank of America Financial Analyst Interview Experience: HireVue scenario prompts

My first step was an online HireVue with behavioral prompts and analytical questions. I had to respond to scenarios as though I were already an employee and decide how I would handle them. That made it less scripted than a simple "tell me about yourself" screen. The process then moved to virtual interviews focused on motivation and my CV. The later round had a similar tone, with personality and b…

Infosys Finacle Software Engineer Interview Experience: Java backend, REST, and Kubernetes

After a recruiter touchpoint, I had an online technical interview centered on Java and backend development. I was asked about multithreading, exception handling, JUnit, Spring, a small REST-controller example, Jenkins integration, and Kubernetes-related topics. The interviewer also covered Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL. The difficulty felt straightforward to moderate, about what I would exp…

Microchip Technology Software Engineer Interview Experience: Full-day onsite and fab tour

The onsite was a long, full-day experience that started early and ran until mid-afternoon. It followed a structured schedule of one-on-one conversations with multiple team members, plus meetings with a director and managers from test engineering, failure analysis, and reliability. I had time to ask questions, saw the lab, and had lunch during the day. The intensity came from meeting so many peopl…

Insulet Software Engineer Interview Experience: smooth start and month-long wait for decline

I applied online and heard from a recruiter within about a week to arrange an initial phone screen. That led to a technical interview with hiring managers. The communication became unusual afterward because I sent follow-ups to both the hiring manager and the recruiter. I waited just over a month before Workday notified me that I had been declined. The early scheduling had been relatively smooth,…

SHI International Account Executive Interview Experience: Three-phase process before September start

I went through a three-phase process over about 2 to 3 weeks. It started with a short phone screen, roughly 20 to 25 minutes, which was mainly an introductory conversation to get to know me. I then had video interviews with a recruiting manager and a sales manager. Each conversation was part of a smooth, straightforward progression. The final step was another interview scheduled for September, ab…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: LeetCode rounds to large-scale design

My loop mixed technical work and design in a consistent flow. I had two technical rounds, then a system-design round, followed by a one-on-one conversation with a manager. The technical rounds were LeetCode-style problem solving. The system-design round was about designing large-scale systems and how I would structure the approach, rather than any one algorithm. The manager conversation stayed fo…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: Word Search II, House Robber, and OOP design

My interview ran across two days, with two rounds each day and about an hour per round. Because the content varied by interviewer, it did not feel completely scripted. Round one had two leadership-principle questions and Word Search II. I started with a fixed grid size, then had to explain how I would handle a grid whose size was no longer fixed. Round two was only leadership-principle questions.…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: workday simulation and three final interviews

My loop began with an OA HackerRank round. Within two days, I had a second round that became a workday simulation. I pretended to be an Amazon SDE and talked through decisions about issues that come up in that job. It was less about producing a lot of untested code and more about how I would handle real-world tradeoffs and choices. The final stage was three back-to-back one-hour interviews, each…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: onsite coding and Bar Raiser gap

I began with a straightforward OA and then moved to onsite interviews. The coding rounds were easier than I expected, with LeetCode medium or medium-hard style problems. The Bar Raiser round was different. It felt more complicated and demanded much more preparation than the coding rounds. I could not turn my onsite coding performance into enough strength in the Bar Raiser evaluation. I did not re…

TSMC Software Engineer Interview Experience: A clear view of the role

The process felt organized and professional from start to finish. I began with a conversation about my background, experience, and qualifications, then the questions shifted to the role, my technical knowledge, and how I approach problem-solving. They also left time for my questions and gave me an overview of what the position would involve. What stood out was how complete the interview felt. It…

Emma (UK) Marketing Analytics Specialist Interview Experience: fast screen and business case

I started with a quick first conversation of about 20 minutes, mostly to get to know each other. It worked as a fast screen to confirm that I was aligned before moving on. The second interview went deeper into my background and role fit. It also included a business case, so the process felt structured and practical instead of overly theoretical. The difficulty felt average, and the pace matched t…

Msft Software Engineer Interview Experience: linked list, kth largest, and URL shortener

A former colleague referred me, and the process began with a technical phone screen. The DSA questions were genuinely difficult for me. One involved reversing a linked list, and another asked for the kth largest element in an array. About a week later, I moved to an onsite. The coding round centered on system design for a scalable URL shortener. Partway through, I realized I had practiced somethi…

Darktrace Account Executive Interview Experience: Promised follow-up never arrived

The experience felt frustratingly unprofessional from the start. After the initial recruiter step, the conversations did not seem organized, and the tone sometimes felt more like a lecture than an interview. One recruiter was overly pedantic and barely asked about my motivation or background. At other points, the hiring manager seemed rushed and disengaged, as though they were not listening to my…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: coding, projects, and leadership principles

The process followed a typical new-grad pattern: an initial coding round followed by three more rounds. Across them, I saw behavioral questions, project discussion, low-level system design, and more coding. Many questions tied directly to leadership principles, so the behavioral part was more specific than a standard tell-me-about-yourself conversation. I had to shape my answers around those them…

Accenture in India Software Engineer Interview Experience: AI agents and Vertex AI requirement

I interviewed for a software engineering role adjacent to AI engineering. The conversation began with my background and introduction, then moved into what an AI agent needs, why someone would use an AI agent, and how an agent differs from a workflow. The technical discussion also covered semantic search. The interviewer tied that to a hiring expectation of about 3 to 4 years of experience with Go…

The topics ranged from basic math to graphs, trees, and HashMap-related problems. The format was very f…

ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: CV discussion and STAR-style stories

The process began with a phone interview that was mostly about my CV. I then had one technical interview and two behavioral interviews with different managers. The behavioral interviews required a lot of stories. It became clear that they wanted answers in a structured format, so I used STAR-style framing to avoid rambling when they asked for specifics. ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: difficult first-stage coding gate

I expected the process to be hard, but it was harder than I thought, and I did not reach the second stage. The difficulty was high enough that I could not recover as the stage went on. I was not selected. What disappointed me w…

Communication was smooth from the start. I flew out to meet the team and had a few interviews with clear coordination and good back-and-forth. The assessment was the one part that initially threw me. ADCI - Karnataka Software Engineer Interview Experience: repeated rescheduling around standard questions

The questions themselves were mostly normal interview questions. What wore me down was the process: my interviews were rescheduled three times, and the changing schedule was stressful. Even with that disruption, the content was not out of line. I got LeetCode-medium-level coding questions and behavioral questions, with nothing especially novel or unfair for an SDE role. I did not get the offer. T…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
